Learn about the cyanotype process! Cyanotype, nicknamed sun-print, is a form of printmaking, originally used to make blueprints using light-sensitive chemicals. Today, people print on things like paper, concrete, clothes, and more to make their own, cyan blue prints. In this workshop, we will use different materials like leaves, flowers, and string to compose unique pieces of art and print it with the help of the sun!
All materials provided. Kids ages 5-12 are invited to join us.Ā
Lunch at the Library is a project of the California State Library, supported with funds from the State of California.
