About the presenters
Dená Brummer is an advocate for honest food, food justice and sustainability. She is currently the Food Justice Coordinator at the City of Hope. She teaches food communications at the University of California and agroecology/food systems with the Multinational Exchange for Sustainable Agriculture.
Jessica Yarger has been a certified UC Master Gardener for nine years. She has extensive experience in food crop and ornamental gardening in Altadena and loves helping others start or improve their own gardens.
